Sa Semaine #14

Dear blog,
This week has been like alternate bad days on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Sunday and better days on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday. I'm not sure why exactly but I only felt the irritation in workplace when I was asked to help my colleague on her jobscope. Personally, I think that she doesn't deserve my help. First of all, she is a 5-years long employee but still fails to manage her work. Secondly, she seems to be faking it with her workload to the extend where she had to work OT even on Saturdays. Thirdly, I managed my workload is for myself to focus more on followups, not on her undone tasks. Maybe I'm just being prejudice. Whatever it is, let's move on to something happier.

I always turn to ice-cream when I need to lift up my mood. Two ice creams this week! Both are from McD and taste as great!

This week is also the week for audit. Thus, the pizza lunch sponsored by my company's consultant on Wednesday. It's his way of doing it when the audit is coming to an end. Which is great cos last week I wanted to order pizza for dinner but only to find out the deal has ended after my work. πŸ™„

Meeting you was like listening to a song for the first time and knowing it would be my favourite.

Have you played the video above? I'm gonna do some sharing here. It was quite some time already when I came to know this song. It was on a one fine day when I was having my takeout lunch at City Room @ Guoco Tower. There was this band about to perform and this song has gotten my attention. Later then I found out that this is a love song Sezairi written for his wife. So sweet~πŸ₯° can someone sing to me this?

COVID-19 has us all being terrified with the invisible. Malaysia already started the Movement Control Order (MCO) on 17 Mar 2020. The public was asked to #stayathome and only allowed the head of the household to go out as a representative for food, groceries, and necessities. You might grasp an idea of the whole situation from this funny video by Jinnyboy below.

As for here in Singapore, the condition isn't really good either. My sis and I started to limit from having our meals outside. We opted to cook at home more often. Most of the time would be my sis doing the cooking and I'll do the dishes when we're done as she sometimes gets to off work early or works from home.

I'm amazed at my sis sometimes when she's able to make really nice food. She made this pumpkin porridge with minced pork and miso-pickled cucumber as toppings! There she just made me feel that I have to brush up my cooking skills too 😁

Now, whenever we've made a meal, we'll share it at our family Whatsapp group. Then, my parents will send us theirs too. It's a way we maintain interaction with our family members back in Malaysia. And I think it's also a way to generate new ideas on what to cook daily! So, this has been my mom's headache all these while... πŸ€”πŸ€

Not long later, Singapore also announced to have its own Circuit Breaker. All are not allowed to dine out anymore. It's only either dabao or delivery. This actually backfires a lil as what came to our mind was to eat in the restaurant for last few days before 7 Apr 2020...and I think most people thought the same too.

set meal @ Osaka Ohsho

I would say that this was my most satisfying meal in a restaurant for this period of time. I purposely chose this set for its 3 different dishes - friend chicken, mapo tofu, and gyoza! Nyum~

PS ILoveYou: L asked my opinion about a car for sale. It's a BMW! Maybe I'm thinking too much.. Or maybe not cos I clearly remembered that he told me that he will be getting an Audi as his next. And I did told him that me myself is aiming for BMW.. as well as Audi. Hmm..moving on.. L shared that he was in a minor accident. Of course I was shocked at first but later on I'm happy that he is willing to share what happenend in his life with me. I'm so bad, aren't I? And and and... He said he like me... but with πŸ˜‹. πŸ™„ so is there a different meaning to it..
